I now know why Biblical Prophets lived in Seclusion.

Because:

No one listens,

No one hears,

No one believes,

The message they speak.

Stay Tuned.

The Prophets in the Bible, spoke the Word God gave them, and it was the truth, yet no one listened.

God’s Word will be Fulfilled

The book of Ezra is a good example of God fulfilling His word.

Ezra 1:1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying:

Ezra 1:2 “Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and He has appointed me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

This is so amazing to me how God uses even a leader who was not Jewish to fulfill His word and bless His people.

However, there was push back from all the people of the land, and their leaders tried to stop what God was doing.

Ezra 4:6 Now in the reign of Ahasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, they wrote an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem.

The work on the temple was paused until:

Ezra 4:24 Then the work on the house of God in Jerusalem ceased, and it was stopped until the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia.

Ezra 6:1 Then king Darius issued a decree, and search was made in the archives, where the treasures were stored in Babylon.

Eventually the original document Cyrus decreed was found (Ezra 6:3) and not only did the work resume, the full cost was to be was to be paid by the people from the royal treasury (Ezra 6:8), and the temple was completed.

Ezra 6:14 And the elders of the Jews were successful in building through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they finished building according to the command of the God of Israel and the decree of Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.

The conclusion is:

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

God wanted His people to follow His ways, but most of the time they followed their own hearts. Yet God fulfilled the promise in Genesis 3:15 that His seed would be victorious and a Savior would come.

Today, no matter what Truth you speak just like then, it gets shredded and tossed aside as worthless. Even used as an accusation for persecution or slander.

2 Chronicles 36:15-16 The LORD, the God of their fathers, sent word to them again and again by His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place; but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, until there was no remedy.

I see the same thing happening today. The only solution is to listen to God and obey Him. Read the Holy Bible and hear what He is telling you personally. The Bible is complete, God stated this in Revelation 22:18-19, (please take the time to read these verses).

His Word is complete, so His answer to what you are going through is in His Word.
